The management of Iraklis Thermaikou announces the start of its cooperation with Michalis Salepis, who takes over the technical leadership of the team ahead of the continuation of Third National League championship.

Michalis Salepis holds a UEFA A coaching license and has already demonstrated noteworthy work throughout his coaching career. He has worked with teams of different profiles and demands, a factor that has given him valuable flexibility as well as substantial expertise in squad management and match situations.

In the past, he has enjoyed successful spells with Atromitos Agiou Antoniou, PAONE, and A.O. Kardias, while his contribution to the youth academies of Aris Thessaloniki (U17 and U19) was particularly significant, where he focused on the development and progression of young footballers. More recently, his tenures at Pammiliakos, P.O. Moudanion, Niki Polygyrou, and Alexandreia further strengthened his coaching résumé.

Michalis Salepis stated:

“I am extremely happy to join Iraklis Thermaikou family. I would like to thank the president and the management for their trust and for the opportunity they are giving me to work at this club. From my side, I will try to repay this trust with hard work and tangible results on the pitch.

The team has great potential. We will approach each match individually, aiming to climb as high as possible in the standings and to achieve the objectives that have been set.

We are in the middle of the season, at a point where matches come one after another and time is limited. We must get to know the players as quickly as possible, work in an organized manner, and gradually implement—day by day and week by week—the elements we want to see in our game.

We have quality players, and our goal is to fully exploit their strengths so that the team can present itself competitive and improved on the field”.
